POSITION: Application Engineer (2 positions)
Arigo is seeking hands-on Application Engineers to focus on projects in areas of new account deployments, upgrades, and customer specific implementation.
LOCATION: This position is based in Acton, MA.
COMPENSATION: Compensation is competitive and includes base, bonus, stock options, 401k, and full benefits package.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize Arigo product expertise to help solving customer problems.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and solution design and planning with customer’s subject matter experts, and prepare detailed specifications for implementation.
- Hands on implementation of Arigo application to support the customer's business processes.
- Manage project progress relative to assigned tasks and communicate progress.
- Work with other internal groups including development and QA teams to ensure the customer's solution needs are met.
- Provide training and support to customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical majors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel (up to 50%).
- Systems integration experience, including ETL and reporting.
- Familiarity with the following: SQL and database technologies, Java, XML, J2EE, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat.
- Ability to work independently.
- Retail/consumer products experience (business or information technology) a plus.
