POSITION: Professional Services Project Manager
Arigo is seeking a hands-on Professional Services Project Manager to lead multiple projects in areas of new implementation, upgrades, and customer specific application.
LOCATION: This position is based in Acton, MA.
COMPENSATION: Compensation is competitive and includes base, bonus, stock options, 401k, and full benefits package.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the main point of contact on implementation projects and coordinate the efforts of internal and external functional and technical staff
- Develop and manage detailed project plans covering the implementation lifecycle
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to determine a customer’s business and technical requirements, during the sales cycle and throughout the implementation
- Ensure that all project work is accurate, high quality, and delivered in a highly professional manner
- Ensures all project communications are professional, relevant, and efficient
- Interacts with all project stakeholders on a regular basis, manages resolution of project issues.
- Delivers comprehensive status reports to project team, customer, and management
- Undertaking project tasks, as appropriate, in the following areas:
- Scope & Budget Management
- Business Process Analysis
- Solution Requirements and Design
- System Configuration & Testing
- Training
- Service Delivery
- Coordinate post go-live, stabilization activities and transition of project information to Arigo's Customer Support Organization
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
- Project lead experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for Fortune 1000 customers; experience working on and managing enterprise scale projects.
- Experience in a customer facing environment in the IT industry.
- Experience within a consulting organization. Demonstrated project management and team leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to independently represent the company to customers
- Must be enthusiastic, action oriented, capable of independently solving complex technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to travel (up to 50%)
- Familiarity with some or all of these technologies: database, Java, XML, app server
Retail/consumer products experience (business or information technology) a plus
